Mossy hike at Eagle Fern park

These evergreen trees were covered in moss, and ever so slightly leaning over the path

This gnarled tree root was looming above us, but quite sedentary and pretty with its coat of moss

Finally on the way back home the sun shone through this thin layer of leaves making the air underneath it absolutely glow!

Neighbourhood walk with old friends

We have some friends visiting, and one of them brought his D40 (which I used to have) so I took it for one of our neighbourhood walks and had a great time just having a small camera that is effortless to carry around with me all the time, and I took a whole bunch of fun photos!

More Paths and dry falls

This low-key hike on cougar mountain presented lots of beautiful pictures of trails:

Our destination was Coal Creek Falls, but the falls were entirely dry, though still picturesque.

Sunny Summer hike in the Verdant Green

We recently took a nice relaxing walk on Cougar Mountain on a sunny day; the verdant greens were so beautiful with the sun back-lighting them.

Wallace Falls

We went for a nice hike last weekend up to Wallace Falls which was really beautiful!

There were lots of amazing falls all the way up!

The area was logged in the early 20th century ; there were remnants of old huge redwood trees around, this one had lots of moss growing around.

This root was just beautiful coming up out of the ground.

There were lots of nice quiet babbling streams like this one:

While spending some time with my parents, I caught these two gorgeous roses from my mum’s garden:
